American sculptor and feminist whose work is displayed in the U.S. Capitol. She worked for women's equality.
She attended rural school and then took classes at the St. Louis School of Design.
She is best known for her portrait Monument to Lucretia Mott, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Susan B. Anthony.
She married Frederick Jenkins in 1896.
She made a bust of Susan B. Anthony.
