Opening batsman who became the fastest Indian batsman to score 3,000 ODI runs, doing so in only 72 innings. He won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 and earned the Golden Bat Award.
He scored a record 505 runs in seven innings in the Under-19 World Cup. He made his ODI debut in 2010 and played his first Test in 2013.
He became the first Indian to score 150+ runs on debut in a Test Match.
He married Aesha Dhawan and he has three children.
