Trumpeter known for his presence in the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
He was a student of Wooden Joe Nicholas as a young man and then started his own band.
His real name was George Colar, but he went by Kid Sheik and Kid Sheik Cola.
He was married to Sadie Goodson, a pianist.
He performed with many their jazz outfits and musicians, including Louis Armstrong.
