Luxembourg jazz and classical trumpet player and founder of the Luxembourg Jazz Orchestra.
He studied at a conservatory in Metz, France before attending Berklee College of Music (Boston) and the Manhattan School of Music.
He toured internationally with the Big Bop Nouveau jazz band and, on the classical side, played with the Luxembourg Philharmonic.
His family lived in the Luxembourg city-commune of Esch-sur-Alzette at the time of his birth.
He was the only European-born member of Duke Ellington's American jazz orchestra.
