John McKinley

Served as an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court from 1837 to 1852.
He was admitted to the bar in 1800 and then began practicing in Kentucky.
His name was given to the Alabama community of McKinley.
He moved to Kentucky with his family when he was a baby.
He was nominated to the Supreme Court by President Martin Van Buren.
