Edoardo Tresoldi
Sculptor
Installation artist who used mesh and industrial materials to create works that mixed classical and modern language to create a new, contemporary one. His work was featured at contemporary art festivals, music festivals and group shows.
Beginning at the age of nine, he experimented with different languages and techniques. He worked under the guidance of painter Mario Straforini.
He helped the Italian Ministry of Culture carry out the restoration of the Basilica paleocristiana of Siponto in 2016. In January of 2017, he was included by Forbes among the 30 most influential European artists under 30.
He grew up in Milan and eventually moved to Rome.
He and Maurizio Cattelan are both Italian artists.
