Wilson Jermaine Heredia

Tony Award and Drama Desk Award-winning actor for his role as Angel Dumott Schunard in the Broadway musical Rent. He would later appear in the film version of the musical. He returned to Broadway in La Cage aux Folles.
He had some early film roles in Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God... Be Back by Five and Flawless.
He was a guest-star on the TV shows Banshee, Without a Trace, Medium and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
His parents are immigrants from the Dominican Republic.
He and Rent cast mate Daphne Rubin-Vega worked together previously in 1999's Flawless.
