Eddie Holland
Blues Singer
Part of the Holland-Dozier-Holland songwriting team. He helped write How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You) and many other Motown hits.
He gratefully accepted a behind-the-scenes role writing songs because he discovered early on in his career that he suffered from severe stage fright.
He and Holland-Dozier-Holland were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
His brother Brian was also a member of the Holland-Dozier-Holland team. He functioned as the team's lyricist.
He experienced a long and productive collaboration with Motown Records founder Berry Gordy.
