Dave Liebman
Saxophonist
Founder of the Dave Liebman Quartet and member of Quest, as well as an International Association of Jazz Educator's Hall of Fame inductee.
He was inspired to play jazz after seeing John Coltrane perform live at New York clubs like Birdland.
He has consistently been voted one of the top finalists in the Soprano Saxophone category in the Down Beat Critics' Poll since 1973.
His wife distributes European music publications.
He was hired by Miles Davis as an apprentice from 1970 to 1974.
