Cornelius Bumpus
Saxophonist
Saxophonist for many well-known bands, including The Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan. He also played with Café Society in Los Angeles.
He started playing alto saxophone at the age of ten and began performing at dances two years later.
He released a solo album in 1981 on which he played saxophone and sang jazzy jams.
He was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California.
Bumpus got his professional start with Bobby Freeman's band in 1966.
