He played for the Saskatoon Blades in the Western Hockey League.
He played for the Los Angeles Kings in 2005-2006.
He has two daughters, Lyla and Jayla, and two sons, Paul and Jake.
Left winger Todd Bertuzzi was his teammate on the Canucks.
