She studied at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. In 2007, she was selected as the Rocky Mountain representative at the first Global Young People's Convocation and Legislative Assembly.

She was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. After a short-lived college career at the University of Colorado, she moved to New York City. She has featured her boyfriend on her Instagram.
