He was drafted 7th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 1972.
He was the captain of the Flyers in the 1981-82 season and part of the 1982-83 season.
His wife Jenny passed away from lung cancer in 2001 and the couple had two kids together: Brooks and Kerri.
He played alongside Bobby Clarke on the Philadelphia Flyers from 1973 to 1984.
