AJ Hinch
Baseball Manager
Former MLB catcher who became manager of the Houston Astros in 2015. He helped the franchise win its first ever World Series title in 2017. During his playing days, he caught games for the Oakland Athletics, Kansas City Royals, Detroit Tigers and Philadelphia Phillies.
He attended Stanford University, where he earned a degree in psychology.
He earned a bronze medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics. He served as manager of the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2009 to 2010.
He had two daughters with his wife Erin Hinch.
He became the manager of several All-Stars during his time in Houston including Jose Altuve and George Springer.
