Paul Davies

Physicist and writer who is best known for nonfiction works on the topics of theoretical physics and quantum mechanics. His publications include The Runaway Universe (1978) and God and the New Physics (1983).
He studied physics at University College, London, completing his Ph.D. in 1970.
The asteroid 6870 Pauldavies was named after him.
His marriage to Tina Durdle lasted from 1978 until 2001.
He won the Michael Faraday Prize in 2002 for his contributions to physics.
