Baseball manager who coached the Pittsburgh Pirates from 2001-2005; their for ripping first base out of the ground and taking it with him after being ejected from a game.
In 1971, he played in the Little League World Series.
He was an outfielder and first baseman in the big leagues from 1987-1994.
He was born and raised in Gary, Indiana.
Mustacheoed lefty closer John Franco was his teammate on the Cincinnati Reds.
