William Wetmore Story

Sculptor, art critic, poet, and editor who produced the their work Cleopatra and also composed a bronze statue of Joseph Henry.
He earned a degree from Harvard Law School, created Treatises of Contract for articles "No Under Seal" and "Law of Sales of Personal Property."
He wrote articles in Blackwood's and produced works such as Medea and Angel of Grief, which were displayed at different locations such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Smithsonian Museum of American Art.
He had three children who also pursued careers in art. Their names are Thomas Waldo Story, Julian Russell Story, and Edith Marion. William married Emelyn Story.
He produced a statue of Joseph Henry.
