Tom Lantos

Politician who represented the Democratic Party and served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from California from 1981 until 2008 and was the Chairman of the House Committee on International Relations from 2007 until 2008.
He joined the anti-Nazi movement and worked as a courier for the underground movement where he delivered food and medicine to Jews.
He was the only Holocaust survivor to have served in the United States Congress.
He had two daughters, Annette and Katrina, with his wife Annette.
He was featured in the 1998 Academy Award winning documentary The Last Days, produced by Steven Spielberg's Shoah Foundation.
