Cornerback who played for the AFL's San Diego Chargers from 1964 to 1969, and the NFL's San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins from 1970 to 1974; inducted into the Chargers Hall of Fame.
He played college football at Jackson State University.
He made the AFL All-Star team three years in a row and was selected to the 1971 AFL-NFL Pro Bowl.
He grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
He was selected as the kick returner alongside Darren Sproles on the Chargers' 50th Anniversary Team.
