Second round draft pick of the New England Patriots who played the nose tackle position. He played college ball at Boston College.
He was team captain and MVP of his high school team in 2003. He was also a shot put champion on the track and field team.
He joined the Iota Phi Theta fraternity at Boston College.
He died of an apparent heart attack at the age of 29 in his hometown of Springfield, Massachusetts.
He played behind long-time Patriot Vince Wilfork while a member of the New England organization.
