He was named a four-star recruit as a high school running back, when he was named Pennsylvania's Mr. Football as a senior. He played Division I college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions.
He finished on the second team All-Big Ten squad following his 2018-2019 junior season with the Nittany Lions. He was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2nd round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
He has two brothers. He was raised by his single mother Marlene.
He backed up Saquon Barkley while playing for Penn State.
