As a child, she appeared in a Broadway production of Les Miserables.
She voiced Wendy in North American commercials for the popular fast food chain Wendy's.
She married actor David Barry Gray in 2007, and they have two children.
In 2012, she became temporary guardian of her younger sister, actress Ariel Winter, following allegations of Ariel's abuse by their mother.
