She first appeared on the small screen at age six in a Cool Whip television commercial.
She has also done voice acting for the animated series Phineas and Ferb.
She has two siblings, Shanelle Workman and Jimmy Workman, who are both actors. She has two dogs named Casper and Rocco. In 2016, she began dating Levi Meaden, but their relationship ended in 2019. She and Luke Benward started dating in 2020.
She played the on-screen little sister of Sarah Hyland on Modern Family.
