Sanna Mirella Marin

Politician who became the then-youngest female state leader when she assumed the title of Prime Minister of Finland in December 2019. She previously served as a member of Finland's parliament beginning in 2015 as a member of the Social Democratic Party.
She began her political career around age 20 by joining the Social Democratic Youth. She studied at the University of Tampere.
Upon her confirmation as Prime Minister in 2019, she became the youngest in the history of Finland. She served as the Minister of Transport and Communications for Finland in 2019.
She and her husband Markus share a daughter named Emma.
She met with Charles Michel in Brussels, Belgium in February 2020.
