Robert Lazzarini
Sculptor
American sculptor who makes common objects into distorted sculptures. He won the New York Foundation for the Arts Artist’s Fellowship in 2005.
He grew up in New Jersey and moved to New York to create his art.
The distortions in his work are derived using algorithm-based operations such as mappings and translations.
His parents raised him in New Jersey.
He and David Park both had their works exhibited in the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.
