Richard Rasmussen
Biologist
Biologist and television personality who first became known hosting the RecordTV series Selvagem ao Extremo. After departing the show in 2014, he went on to host Rede Bandeirantes' Saturday Animal program.
After earning his degree in biology from Ibirapuera University, he went on to study economics at the University of Sao Paolo.
He has a self-titled YouTube channel where he has accumulated more than 4.9 million subscribers posting animal videos and travel vlogs.
He was born in Sao Paolo to Uwe Waldemar and Patrizia Rasmussen. He married Rhenata Tolksdorf in 2014 and they have two children, Isabella and Eric.
Like Steve Irwin, he became known for hosting popular animal documentary shows.
