Bulgarian poet and writer who studied philosophy and was a member of the prominent Misal (Thought) group. His intimate poems appeared in numerous literary publications.
He was educated in Tryavna and Plovdiv. He later served as director of both the Bulgarian National Theatre and the National Library of Bulgaria.
A teenage bout of pneumonia left him permanently disabled.
