Pop/rock singer-songwriter as well as pianist and guitarist whose fame increased dramatically when his single "You Lift Me Up" became the featured song for the season 10 promo commercial of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
He began playing the piano when he was 8 years old. He is an alumnus of Vanderbilt University. He released a debut album called Change Again in 2008 which ranked within the iTunes top 100 pop albums in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
His 2011 album Constant Motion was featured in the top of the Billboard Heatseekers chart and his 2014 self-titled album ranked within the iTunes top 50 pop albums in the US. His music has been used on shows that include Ghost Whisperer, Pretty Little Liars, So You Think You Can Dance, Switched at Birth and Dance Moms.
He was born in Syosset, New York as Michael Ross Wax. He has a brother named Jonny.
