Trumpet player best known as a member of the jazz/funk instrumental ensemble Snarky Puppy. He has also lead his own band called Maz.
He studied jazz at the University of North Texas.
He released his first EP with his band Maz in 2012.
He has considered the members of Snarky Puppy to be his family.
He has been a member of Snarky Puppy which was founded by bassist Michael League.
