He met his wife Lynne while attending college at California State University.
His family's band gained popularity after performing cover songs on YouTube.
He and wife Lynne had 11 kids named Mike, Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Alex, Lauren, Dani, Christian, Nick, and Joey.
His eldest daughter Christina was the leader and originator of the family run band.
