He, like his siblings, was home schooled in Sacramento, California, and grew up loving to play basketball.

He is the youngest child of Mike Cimorelli, Sr. and Lynne Cimorelli. He grew up with older brothers named Nick, Christian, Alex, and Mike, Jr., and with sisters named Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Lauren, and Dani.
Growing up, he has reportedly been closest to his sister Katherine.
