Trumpeter and founder of the Barbecue Swingers, a jazz quintet.
He began playing trumpet when he was in eighth grade.
He was a co-founder of the Rebirth Brass Band and recorded with them.
In 2007 he married Karen James.
His music was heavily influenced by Louis Armstrong.
