Karl Denson
Saxophonist
Jazz and funk saxophonist, flautist, and singer. He founded a band called The Greyboy Allstars and also played with Lenny Kravitz's musical group.
He released his debut solo album, Blackened Red Snapper, in 1992.
He formed the Karl Denson Trio (KD3) with percussionist Brett Sanders and keyboard player Anthony Smith.
He grew up in San Diego and Santa Ana, California.
His albums with Lenny Kravitz include Mama Said and Let Love Rule.
