Highly athletic and defensive minded combo guard and forward who played three years of college basketball for the University of North Carolina. He was selected 58th overall in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers.
He played his high school ball at Menomonee Falls in Wisconsin. He played soccer until he was 13 years old before he began playing basketball.
He was named to the ACC All-Defensive Team in 2014.
He was born in Rockford, IL to parents Trevor and Laurence Trimble. His grandfather played for the Cameroon national soccer team.
He and third overall pick Jahlil Okafor were both taken by the 76ers in the 2015 NBA Draft.
