John Henry Foley

Irish sculptor who made the statue of Daniel O'Connell in Dublin, as well as the statue of Prince Albert in London.
He was a student in the schools of the Royal Academy in London.
A statue of Foley himself at the Victoria and Albert Museum shows him with a moustache, wearing a floppy cap.
His father was a glass-blower.
He and Augustus Saint-Gaudens were both sculptors from Ireland.
