James Iredell
Supreme Court Justice
Served as an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court from 1790 to 1799.
He was admitted to the bar in 1771.
He was one of the earliest Supreme Court Justices.
He married Hannah in 1773, and they had four children together. His son was governor of North Carolina James Iredell Jr.
He was nominated to the Supreme Court by President George Washington.
