Wheelchair racer who won gold medals in both the 100 and 200 meter events at the 2012 Paralympics.
She had two cardiac arrests at birth, which severely damaged her motor skills.
While winning the gold medals at the 2012 Paralympics, she set world records in both events.
She was born in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
She was trained by Dr. Ian Thompson, the husband of fellow wheelchair racer Tanni Grey-Thompson.
