Pilot turned internet sensation who has built a following on her Fly With Eva blog documenting her travels and life as a commercial airline pilot. She also has an accompanying Instagram page, which reaches over 210,000 followers.
She graduated from the CAE Oxford Aviation Academy in 2010. She'd previously studied literature and journalism at university.
She worked as a first officer for Ryanair from 2013 until 2017. She then became the first officer of a Boeing 747 with Cathay Pacific Airways.
Originally from Haarlem, Netherlands, she later lived in Barcelona, Spain.
Both she and Michelle Gooris are pilots who became popular bloggers writing about their experiences as pilots.
