Eugenia Zukerman
Flute Player
Internationally acclaimed flautist and director of the Bravo! Vail music festival. She performed with such world-their orchestras as the National Symphony Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the English Chamber Orchestra.
After studying English for a time at Barnard College, she transferred to the prestigious Juilliard School to study flute with Julius Baker.
She was the 1970 winner of the Young Concert Artists International Auditions.
She married violin virtuoso Pinchas Zukerman and raised two daughters: Natalia (a folk musician) and Arianna (an opera singer).
She and her contemporary Paula Robison both had successful careers as flute players.
