Don Braden
Saxophonist
Jazz musician known for his performances on the tenor saxophone. He recorded such albums as After Dark, Fire Within, and Brighter Days.
By the age of fifteen, he was a professional saxophonist. He continued his musical career while studying engineering at Harvard University.
He performed with such artists and musical groups as J.J. Johnson, Art Farmer, the Mingus Big Band, and Out of the Blue.
Born in Ohio, he grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. He later settled in New York City.
In the late 1980s, he went on tour with renowned jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis.
