Boxing middleweight who reigned as the IBF middleweight champion in 2015. He would later win the WBC Continental Americas and then-vacant WBO Inter-Continental middleweight titles in March 2017 in a victory against Curtis Stevens.
He began boxing training at age 9. He later turned pro at age 18 after being a three-time Canadian Amateur champion.
He reigned as the WBC International middleweight champion from 2010-2011. He would later go on to win the then-vacant WBO-NABO middleweight title in May 2016.
