Swedish bishop of Karlstad who was also a botanist and mathematician.
He became a Mathematics professor at Lund University in 1807.
He was rector of Lund University and a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
He was born in Bastad.
He was a botanist like Niels Hansen.
