Blanche Oelrichs

Playwright and poet whose theatrical works include the 1921 Broadway play Clair de Lune and the 1926 drama Easter One Day More. She published a 1928 poetry collection entitled Selected poems by Michael Strange.
She was born into a wealthy family and spent her childhood summers vacationing with other prominent families, including the Vanderbilts and the Astors.
She wrote under the male pseudonym of Michael Strange.
She was married three times -- to Leonard Thomas, John Barrymore, and Harrison Tweed -- and had three children.
Her second husband, the renowned actor John Barrymore, illustrated her 1921 book Resurrecting Life.
