55th Annual Grammy Awards which saw Dan Auerbach take home the most gramophones (5). Auerbach tied Mumford and Sons, who also won the Album of the Year award for Babel, Fun, Frank Ocean and Kanye West for the most nominations on the night.
Trivia
The new categories Best Classical Compendium, Best Latin Jazz Album, and Best Urban Contemporary Album brought the number of awards from 78 to 81. Bruce Springsteen was honored with the MusiCares Person of the Year award.
