Alberto Giacometti
Sculptor
Swiss painter and sculptor who was associated with the surrealist movement. He created Woman of Venice II, a painted bronze sculpture.
In 1922, he studied under the guidance of French sculptor Antoine Bourdelle.
He had an exhibit at the Museum of Modern art in New York in 1965.
He often used his three siblings as models for his artwork.
He was a contemporary of Pablo Picasso.
