William Henry Rinehart
Sculptor
American sculptor who is considered one of the last important American sculptors to work in the classical style.
He apprenticed at The Peabody Institute in Baltimore, and studied sculpture at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
He left his estate in trust for the teaching of sculpture at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
He was the son of Israel Rinehart and Mary Rinehart.
He and William Wetmore Story have both had works on display in the Smithsonian.
