A chess legend who was the first ever, undisputed World Chess Champion.
He grew up in Prague, which was then part of the Austrian Empire.
He held the first official World Champion of Chess title from 1886 to 1894.
His family was poor and he was raised in poverty.
He lost his World Championship title to Emanuel Lasker in 1837.
