Wilhelm Lehmbruck

German sculptor who made sculptures that concentrate on the human body, such as The Kneeling One, finished in 1911.
He trained at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and is often associated with the Düsseldorf school of painting.
His works are influenced by Naturalism and Expressionism.
He married Anita Kaufmann in 1907 and they had three children.
He and Sylvia Plath both suffered from severe depression.
