He first opened his YouTube channel in August 2010, long before the advent of Instagram.
While his Instagram is primarily for short sketches, his YouTube channel titled WessamQ has become a hub for longer form sketches.
Originally from Jordan, he later lived in Palestine.
In March of 2016, fellow web comedian Marcus Perez appeared in a video on his Instagram account.
