Walter Kamau Bell

Sociopolitical comedian and activist who first rose to fame for his standup albums like One Night Only and Face Full of Flour. He has since become the host of several television series including Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell and CNN's United Shades of America.
After graduating from the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools he attended the University of Pennsylvania before dropping out.
An anti-racism advocate, he is on the advisory board for the think tank Race Forward and the organization Hollaback!
He was born to Walter Bell, an insurance commissioner, and Janet Cheatham, an author. He married Melissa Hudson and the two have two daughters, Sami and Juno.
